Itinerary

Arrive in Helsinki

Welcome to Helsinki, the capital city of Finland, the happiest country in the world. The city is a hotspot for design and architecture, and its aesthetically pleasing, vibrant neighbourhoods (like its Design District). On arrival in Helsinki, you will be greeted by your Friendly representative, who will later escort you to your hotel and check-in.

Day 2 Enjoy a guided city tour of Helsinki. Visit Rock Church. Overnight Cruise to Stockholm.

Today check out from your hotel and proceed for a guided city tour by driving past the city’s busy harbour and shipyards and down the coastal road by Embassy Park, seeing the colourful open-air market, you will see Senate Square, home to an elegant Lutheran Cathedral, as well as Esplanade, a popular shopping avenue where many designer shops are located. Visit the Sibelius Monument dedicated to the Finnish composer Jean Sibelius. 

The tour will also take you down Mannerheim Street – Helsinki’s main street, to see the impressive Parliament building, the National Museum and Finlandia Hall; Alvar Alto designed this beautiful concert hall and convention centre. 

Later see the Olympic Stadium Helsinki constructed for its hosting of the 1952 Olympic Games. During your sightseeing tour of Helsinki, you will also see the unique Rock Church which was built out of solid rock and capped with a copper dome. Later in the afternoon proceed to the pier to board the overnight cruise to Stockholm.

Day 3 Arrive in Stockholm. Entrance to Drottningholm Palace. Enjoy a guided city tour of Stockholm with a visit to the maritime museum – Vasa Museum. Enjoy a fascinating ride in the gondola up to SkyView of Stockholm.

Today you arrive in Stockholm, the Swedish capital. It is an open city for different perspectives and new ideas. Stockholm is famed for its iconic city hall, the world’s first open-air museum and other historical sites. A vibrant destination where innovations in music, design, fashion and technology are born. Disembark from the cruise and proceed for a guided tour of Drottningholm Palace. Experience a historic milieu of the highest standard. Drottningholm Palace is Sweden’s best-preserved royal palace constructed in the seventeenth century, the permanent residence of the royal family, and one of Stockholm’s three World Heritage Sites. 

Later meet your local guide at the hotel Lobby and proceed on a guided tour of the city of Stockholm often referred to as the Venice of the North. Visit Fjällgatan to see the magnificent view of the Swedish capital, spread out on 14 islands with Lake Mälar on one side and the Baltic Sea on the other. See the Old Town with its fascinating narrow cobble-stoned alleys, the Royal palace, the Cathedral, and the City Hall where the festivities of the annual Nobel Prize award take place. Continue to the impressive Vasa Museum, this outstanding museum, which houses eight exhibitions, is one of Sweden’s most popular tourist attractions because of its beautifully preserved wooden warship that sank in Stockholm Harbour during her ill-fated maiden voyage in 1628. Go up on the gondola to the SkyView – Stockholm’s landmark, a world-class attraction that takes you to the top of the world’s largest spherical building for a fantastic view of Stockholm.

Day 4 Onto Oslo - the capital of Norway. Visit Karlstad – the beautiful lakeside town in Sweden

Sit back and relax in your coach as we drive to Oslo – the Norwegian capital. En route, visit the charming town of Karlstad, situated between Stockholm and Oslo. Bisected by the serene Klarälven River, Karlstad is known for its iconic Smiling Sun symbol, reflecting its warm and friendly atmosphere.

Day 8 Orientation tour of Aarhus with a photo stop at the Infinite Bridge. Visit the H.C. Andersen Museum.

What can i expect on this tour ?

o This is a coach tour led by an English/Hindi-speaking Tour Escort.

o The group comprises tourists from India or of Indian origin.

o We are happy to assist you for air ticket, visa and insurance the same is provided at an additional cost.

o The tour operator reserves the right to use either a mini-bus or a full-sized coach, depending on the total
number of passengers booked.

o The itinerary is guaranteed unless impacted by unforeseen circumstances, such as road closures due to
weather, natural disasters, safety concerns, changes in highway regulations, or actions by third parties
beyond the Service Provider’s control.

o No deviations from the planned services will be permitted during the tour.

o Tour Operator reserves the right to amend OR cancel any arrangements for a particular itinerary for any
reasons beyond the control.

Need details on hotel offered ?

The hotels specified are based on 3-Star OR 4-star Hotels local classifications. On this coach tour, the
hotels offered are outside the city limits.
o Breakfast served in the Hotel is a continental breakfast.
o Maximum Occupancy 2 adults + 1 Children OR 3 Adults. (3rd person in a triple room is offered rollaway
beds and room size may be the same as the double room.)
o If changes become necessary for any reason, a substitute hotel will be of a similar standard. While every
effort is made to reserve twin bedded rooms, a hotel may provide double beds instead of v.v.
o Our Pricing for the hotels includes room rate, taxes and Breakfast if applicable. The passengers are liable
to pay for any additional incidentals that they may incur at the Hotel.
o Our standard practice is the double-bedded room will be allocated to couples. For 2 or more passengers
we will book a room with two double beds for parents travelling with children, we will book a room with 2
beds. A rollaway bed is not allowed in a room with 2 beds.
o Please note that the standard policy is that hotel rooms are available for check-in after 1500hrs. Early
check-in needs to be advised in advance, which may attract charges.
o Hotels will ask for Credit Card at the time of check-in towards incidentals.

How about airport pickup / drop transfers ?

Complimentary Transfers for Arrival & Departure Transfers are provided as below

o Arrival Transfer at Paris (CDG Airport)  – Flight landing time should be between 08 AM – 02 PM.

o Departure Transfer at Zurich (ZRH Airport) : The coach will drop at ZRH Airport by 1100 AM. Please book your flight accordingly.

o Please advise your client that there may be waiting up to 02-03 Hours (Post reaching in arrival hall) for arrival transfers.

o If flight timings are before / after the suggested timing, client has to arrange his private transfers on direct payment basis. We will not reimburse any cost for private transfers.

Are indian meals offered on tour ?

o Meals offered are in a standard Indian restaurant; you will be served at a buffet or a set dinner depending upon the group size. Beverages (alcoholic or non-alcoholic is not included).

What are the services provided by the tour manager ?

o The tour will be escorted by well-experienced Tour Managers who are fully trained to provide you customer satisfaction.
o Tour Manager has the right to change the Itinerary based on Weather and traffic conditions. Please follow protocol while on tour.

How is the seating position in the coach ?

o Seating Arrangements in the bus will be first come, first serve. The coach size will vary based on the
number of passengers.
o For van tours with less than 15 passengers, we will have a driver/Tour Manager.

What happens in case of delays ?

For any missed or delayed flights and subsequently late start / no start of the tour. All additional costs must be settled on the spot by the passengers. We recommend that passengers call the emergency phone number in the travel documents in case of delay.

What about Visa ?

For all tours, Schengen Visa for the first arrival country and UK visa for the tours arriving into UK is required. We suggest you check with Consulate / Embassy for updated visa requirements. Securing a valid visa is the responsibility of the booking agent.

What assistance are provided to travelers with special needs ?

o Any disability requiring special attention must be reported at the time of booking. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the unique needs of a disabled guest. However, we are not responsible for any denial of services by service providers.
o Hotels, restaurants, motor coaches, mini-buses, vans may not be equipped with wheelchair ramps. We
cannot provide individual assistance to a tour member for walking, dining, getting on/off, vehicles or other personal needs.
o A qualified and physically able companion must accompany travellers who need assistance.

Will unused services be refunded ?

No refunds will be made for any unused services once travel arrangements have commenced. Any complaints while travelling should be made immediately to the local representative, the tour manager will try out utmost best to resolve any disputes.
