Welcome to Siem Reap, the gateway to the ancient Khmer civilization and home to the magnificent Angkor Wat temple complex. Upon arrival, you will be greeted at the airport and embark on a city tour. Begin with a visit to Senteurs D’Angkor New Workshop (open Monday to Friday), where you’ll discover the craftsmanship behind handmade products such as coconut oil soap, natural cosmetics, aromatic candles, and local spices. You can also sample flavored teas, coffees, and exotic jams while learning about local plants like lemongrass, chili, and jasmine. Next, visit Wat Bo, an 18th-century pagoda famous for its late-19th-century wall paintings depicting scenes from the Reamker (Ramayana). Conclude the day at the lively Psar Chars (Old Market), where you can shop for a variety of goods.

After breakfast, explore the majestic Angkor Thom, the last capital of the Angkorian Empire, known for its impressive 3-square-kilometer walled and moated city. Enter through the South Gate and visit highlights such as the iconic Bayon Temple, with its many enigmatic smiling faces, and the Terrace of the Elephants, adorned with intricate carvings. Continue to the Terrace of the Leper King, Baphuon, the Royal Palace, and Phimeanakas, a sandstone pyramid temple. End the morning with a visit to Ta Prohm, a stunning temple overgrown with giant trees and roots. In the afternoon, visit the legendary Angkor Wat, a masterpiece of Khmer architecture and one of the wonders of the Oriental world. Explore its intricate bas-reliefs, galleries, and celestial Apsara carvings that illustrate Hindu mythology. End the day at Phnom Bakheng, a hill temple offering panoramic views of the Angkor area, especially breathtaking at sunset.

After breakfast, take a short journey to Chong Kneas Floating Village, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap on the Tonle Sap Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. Board a traditional wooden boat to experience the Khmer way of life, with houses, schools, and shops all floating on the lake. In the afternoon, enjoy leisure time for relaxation or shopping.

o Our standard practice is the double-bedded room will be allocated to couples. For 2 or more passengers
we will book a room with two double beds for parents travelling with children, we will book a room with 2
beds. A rollaway bed is not allowed in a room with 2 beds.

check-in needs to be advised in advance, which may attract charges.
o Airport transfers on private basis in an air-conditioned vehicle.
o Inter-city travel shuttle services offer an economical and great value option, ideal for budget travellers, as you will share the vehicle with other tourists.
o SIC tours operate at a pre-decided time and designated pick-up points. The service may start from a hotel or a city centre location, but please note that the cost of transportation to the city centre is not included. For SIC sightseeing tours, an English-speaking guide will be provided.
