Franchise terms & conditions
A summary of the general terms on which the partnership operates. The full, binding terms are set out in the franchise agreement, which is shared with you before anything is signed.
- Grant & territory
The franchise is granted a non-exclusive right to operate a Cox & Kings retail travel store at the approved location, under the brand name and marks, for the term of the agreement. Any territory understanding applies only to the specific approved location.
- Term & renewal
The franchise runs for a fixed initial term from the date of signing. Renewal is by mutual agreement, subject to the franchisee being in good standing and to the terms applicable at the time of renewal.
- Fees & payments
Applicable franchise fees, a refundable security deposit and the commercial terms are set out in the agreement and shared following review of the application. All payments are made as scheduled in the agreement.
- Termination
Either party may end the agreement in the circumstances set out in it, including for material breach that is not remedied within the notice period. On termination, use of the brand name and marks stops and the store is de-branded.
