The feeling of Latvia is history up front, nature all around, and peace in between.

Latvia sits firmly in that category of the ‘not-so-common’ European destinations, the kind people are only just beginning to notice. Dig deep enough here, and you’ll find foundations building up to the present; pagan roots, the Russian Empire, a brief independence, Nazi and Soviet rule, and finally, a freedom that defines the country today. But beyond history, there’s the way people have always turned inward, to its forests, lakes, and beaches, creating a connection to nature that still defines Latvia just as much as its past.
