Argentina, at your own pace

We're pretty sure the name ‘Argentina’ doesn't need much of an introduction, not with Diego Maradona's legacy still argued about decades later, or Lionel Messi finally lifting the World Cup. But Argentina as a travel destination? Iguazú Falls, nearly twice the height of Niagara and three times as wide, enough that legend has it Eleanor Roosevelt took one look and said, "Poor Niagara." We say it's worth a shot…

The destination

A little about Argentina

Argentina is the eighth-largest country in the world, stretching so far from north to south that it holds subtropical jungle at one end and glaciers at the other, sometimes within the same week of travel. Patagonia, shared with Chile, holds some of the last great wilderness on Earth with peaks, ice fields and windswept plains. Buenos Aires carries a distinctly different feel, its grand boulevards and ornate architecture earning it the old nickname "the Paris of South America," while tango, born in its working-class dance halls over a century ago, still spills out onto its streets today.

If you're planning to visit multiple US cities with family, then planning & arranging everything on your own can be an intimidating task. Although I'm a seasoned traveler, I felt joining a group tour to the US is the best option. I had never been on a group tour before, and I'm glad that Cox & Kings made this experience a memorable one for me & my family! The interaction with our travel consultant, Mr. Shoaib, was excellent. The hotels exceeded our expectations and food arrangements were top-class, with options that suited everyone's tastes! A special mention to our bus driver, Mr. Evans who was truly a gem of a person!
