A little about Denmark
Denmark is made up of over 400 islands, though only around 70 are inhabited, connected by a network of bridges, ferries and causeways that Danes navigate as casually as most people cross a street. Copenhagen has been named the world's most liveable city more than once, and it's also home to Noma, repeatedly ranked among the best restaurants on the planet. The Vikings set sail from these shores over a thousand years ago, and their legacy is still visible in longship burial mounds and museum halls across the country. Despite its small size, Denmark has more bicycles than cars registered in Copenhagen alone, a city built as much for pedals as for people.
